The Charter Review Commission voted last night to no longer hold meetings on the same day and at the same time as City Council meetings. Instead, they decided to hold meetings on the same day and at the same time as the Planning and Zoning Commission. Apparently Tuesday evenings are the only times to hold city-sanctioned meetings in Kyle.
That means the next Charter Review Commission meeting will be held next Tuesday, that's April 14, in the second floor conference room of City Hall. The commission members were adamant that as many members of the public as possible should attend the meeting, even though the room can comfortably fit the commission members and, at the most, three other persons.
But, hey, who am I to say you shouldn't violate the fire code in the name of democracy.
